The Application collects information when you download and use it, including:

For an optimal experience, while using the Application, the Service Provider may require you to provide us with certain personally identifiable information, including but not limited to Email user ID, password, photos, biography, messages, places, videos, notes, contacts, preferences, location, device information, log data, usage data, cookies, etc. The information that the Service Provider requests will be retained by them and used as described above in this privacy policy.
3. Third Party Access
Only aggregated, anonymized data is periodically transmitted to external services to aid the Service Provider in improving the Application and their service. We rely on third party service providers to support us and/or provide services in connection with your use of the Service, such as for authentication, communications, web hosting, security and fraud prevention, technical and customer support, tracking and reporting usage of the Service, quality assurance testing, payment processing, advertising, marketing, and other functions. 4. Opt-Out Rights and Usage Rights
You can stop all collection of information by the Application easily by uninstalling it. You may use the standard uninstall processes as may be available as part of your device, mobile device, or via the mobile application marketplace or network.
You can also:
- edit your profile and content
- delete pins, collections, or your account
- manage privacy settings
- limit certain data collection and uses, such as your location, contacts, photos, microphone, speech recognition, and camera
5. Data Retention Policy
The Service Provider shall retain user provided data for as long as you use the Application and for a reasonable time thereafter. Upon deletion of any content or account, the Service Provider will promptly begin deletion of the relevant data, but may retain backups temporarily for a reasonable amount of time. If you would like the Service Provider to permanently delete all user provided data that you provided via the Application, please contact them at support@ubiplaces.com and they will respond within a reasonable time.
6. Children
The Service Provider does not use the Application to knowingly solicit data from or market to children under the age of 13.
The Service Provider does not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children. The Service Provider strongly encourages all children to never submit any personally identifiable information through the Application and/or Services. The Service Provider encourages parents and legal guardians to monitor their children's Internet usage and to help enforce this Policy by instructing their children never to provide personally identifiable information through the Application and/or Services without their permission. If you have reason to believe that a child has provided personally identifiable information in your country (in some countries we may allow your parent or guardian to do so on your behalf).

The Service Provider is concerned about and prioritizes safeguarding the confidentiality of your information. The Service Provider provides commercially reasonable physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards to protect information the Service Provider collects, processes, and maintains.

ubi operates globally. Your data may be processed in:

- other jurisdictions outside of the United States
The Service Provider takes commercially reasonable steps to protect your data in accordance with applicable laws.

This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time for any reason. The Service Provider shall notify you of any changes to the Privacy Policy by updating this page with the new Privacy Policy. You are advised to consult this Privacy Policy regularly for any changes, as continued use is deemed approval of all changes. This Privacy Policy is effective as of April 15, 2026.
